. How to contribute to our vision
For our System Integration Department within the Software Solutions division, we are looking for a talented System Test Engineer for our existing System Test Team.
In the System Integration team, we fulfill the role of a Solution level System Team following the SAFe/SCRUM framework. This means that we are responsible for; the SW test strategy, the enforcement of it, and the creation and maintenance of our CI build- and test environments in which automated tests are executed.
We are responsible for the definition, implementation and operation of all Solution/System level tests, thus ensuring the high SW quality required by our customer operating wind farms globally. We use BDD as our requirement and test process, which means all system level features are formulated in Gherkin.
As System Test Engineer, work tasks will include
- Implementing and maintaining new and existing system features tests in Cucumber/Ruby
- Improving our large automation framework to ensure we always have state-of-art technologies and practices to ensure high stability and short feedback
- You will be working on automation at different levels: UI and API while addressing very different areas: functional, performance, stability and security, and very different products: servers over embedded controllers to network and HW devices.
- With your deep knowledge of test principles, you will refine the acceptance criteria and challenge the testability of the relevant products
- You will analyze failed test cases in our complex system and document the results in our defect tracking system, including the proper severity. You will verify the solution to these defects.
What you need to make a difference

The ideal candidate holds an academic degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Data Science and preferably some courses or certifications in software testing like ISQTB in combination with thorough practical experience with
- Test automation in an agile environment (SCRUM/SAFe)
- You have strong analytical skills, that enable you to understand the features of a complex system of systems.
- You have good people skills, that enable you to seek the information you need in the organization both when analyzing new features but also when analyzing failed test cases.
Most importantly, you challenge yourself and your colleagues to achieve the best results. You have a high professional competency and you have a desire to develop your skills. You have good collaboration skills and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts. To thrive in this position, you must have a strong result- and customer-oriented approach.
