For our electrical team, within the offshore technology department, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Electrical Design Engineer for Auxiliary UPS projects. The electrical department has the “end to end” responsibility for the electrical system in our onshore and offshore wind turbines and are involved from the early concept development to optimization of the installed fleet.
How to contribute to our vision
As an Electrical Design Engineer for the electrical integration in the Auxiliary UPS projects, you will be part of a project team whose responsibility is to develop, validate and document the design for Aux UPS projects. Your main responsibilities will be: capturing requirements, create specific electrical requirements, participate and facilitate electrical design concepts, give input to project plan in close cooperation with the technical project manager, create specifications for sub suppliers, coordinate and work with internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers, define and describe software requirements/functionalities for the UPS system.

An individual who wants to make what matters reality and someone who wants to contribute and change the world of renewable energy. The ideal candidate holds a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering or similar in combination with thorough practical experience with:
  • Product development
  • Coordination of tasks with internal and external stakeholders
  • Wind turbine design
  • Power electronics design
  • Ability to take a holistic system view
  • Team player
You are familiar with working in large matrix organizations and able to handle many tasks and interfaces simultaneously. You thrive in a dynamic, international environment and you have good cooperation and communication skills. Lastly, you possess excellent English skills written as well as spoken.
