In our company, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Deutschland GmbH, we are looking for a Technical Supporter (1st level).
  • Adherence and implementation of relevant quality and HSE requirements
  • To support Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Service Renewable (Power Generation) business to be the market leader within the wind industry
  • To provide product technical support remotely and on site for all turbine systems and major turbine components on all platforms types
  • Contribute to the departmental targets as well as participating as a key team member to ensure efficiency within the team. Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and consolidate so enabling a clear picture. Present and explain technical issues to a wide variety of people in a clear manner
  • Help our customers to understand and resolve technical issues
  • Drive quality and continuous improvement.
  • Help our Operations department to resolve wind turbine technical issues
Main Tasks:
  • To be part of a dedicated Product Technical Support team providing both remote and onsite technical support of systems and components within the turbine
  • Ability to answer customer related technical enquiries and create relevant detailed technical reports
  • Technically contribute to other business functions
  • Provide technical input to department specific ticket systems
  • Demonstrate always an active safety leadership role. Ensure correct reporting of incidents and accidents, near misses and unsafe acts and conditions
  • Supervision of actual status of turbine, trend analysis and implementation of preventive actions
  • On call duty via phone
Required Qualifications
Educational / Professional Requirements:
  • Completed education in electric
  • Fully trained technician (G41,Working at hights, Sea survival,etc) would be beneficial
  • Experienced in the wind sector (wind turbine technology)
  • Experience and comprehensive technical knowledge about AD 5-116/135 would be nice to have but it is not mandatory
Personal Requirements:
  • To be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner to pass on knowledge to any internal or external personnel. Ability to work under own initiative as well as integrate into a team environment.
  • Ability to self-educate to unknown topics
  • Very strong analytics and diagnostics skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Spoken and written English
