Do you want to develop and deliver big scale production equipment?
For our Global Tooling and Automation department in Nacelle Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, we are looking for committed and motivated equipment specialist to develop and drive the strategy, implementing the next level of generation of Torque and Tension equipment. Stetting up the strategy for how we drive and improve Big scale automations production equipment for manufacturing On- and Offshore Nacelles.
How to contribute to our vision
The main task of the production equipment specialist will be to define, develop and implement torque and tension equipment for NPI, production plants and new production lines. You will work closely with internal departments, Production and Process Engineering, R&D, Procurement and Quality as well as external suppliers around the world.
The Torque and Tension Specialist will drive development projects from the conceptual idea, designing to final test and implementation. You will be responsible for driving the strategy for torque and tension strategy in close collaboration with out R&D technology department.
You will be working closely with various stakeholders in the organization securing input are captured into the development process of Your projects. Your focus is to ensuring high performance and cost competitiveness solutions without compromise quality and safety. As a part of choosing right solution your will be responsible for driving, establish and support business cases on equipment and process solutions.
As Torque and Tension Specialist, you will be specifying requirement specifications, be the technical adviser during quotation and order placement review concept solution and support in the installation on site.
There is an expectation of 30-60 days travelling pr. Year.

A structured team player with high communication skills, who thrives by securing that goals are met according to the schedule and strategy.
You should be an experienced mechanical engineer with in torque and tension technologies, but also with project management skills and a personal drive. You will be involved in all project phases and thrive in a technical project environment characterized by cross-functional knowledge sharing. You possess the ability to work independently as well as in teams and you are good at collaborating with stakeholders at different areas of the organization
You have 5+ years of experience with design, understanding technical specifications and documentations of production equipment – A great advantage would be from the wind industry or large-scale manufacturing. You hold a Bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, marine engineering or similar background, e.g. calibration engineer etc.
A high level of English is required both written and oral since it is the corporate language of Siemens Gamesa.
