We are looking for a Senior Engineering Transformation Lead to join our Engineering transformation office within the Technology department. The office is responsible for all engineering improvement initiatives securing an efficient engineering organization and is reporting directly to the Onshore CTO. The new position is a unique opportunity for impacting the future transformation of the Technology organization. The team is based in Denmark (Brande), Portugal (Vagos) and Spain (Sarriguren).

How to contribute to our vision
As Senior Engineering Transformation Lead you are responsible for transformation activities within the Onshore technology department. You will plan, prepare, and coordinate those initiatives and make sure, that progress is achieved as planned.
To your daily responsibilities belong:
  • Leading Strategic Improvement Initiatives for the Onshore Technology department
  • Connecting the different initiatives to a common solution
  • Estimate impact on efficiency, quality, and lead times
  • Securing and tracking progress through strong project reporting and following up on measures
  • Securing alignment with stakeholder
  • Securing communication through a defined communication plan and connected communication material
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for a Senior Project Manager experienced with transformation and change management in an international engineering organization.
You have worked in a large international R&D organization which works with complex products and many different engineering disciplines for at least 10 years and have a proven track record of change management and transformation within such an organization.
You have in-depth knowledge about how a large R&D organization works with the following:
  • Management of development projects from portfolio to task level
  • How work is typically organized between Line management, project management and technical staff
  • How new products are developed using PLM processes and systems
  • How efficiency is improved and measured
You have strong capabilities within:
  • Project and program management in connection with transformation of an engineering organization
  • Connecting the dots of the different improvements understanding their dependencies and from that create a common plan and approach to implementation
  • Securing a tangible approach – involving the organization
  • Understanding the critical factors that secures success
  • Communication being able to create material and storylines explaining the transformation to all levels of the organization using slides and other communication channels
  • stakeholder involvement and management
  • We expect that you have a master’s degree in an engineering discipline supplemented with an MBA
