This is your chance to take a central place in driving the engineering solutions for the green energy transition as we are looking for a Product Owner for the Bearing Lubrication Systems. You will be part of our Bearing team within the Nacelle Technology department where new products and technologies are designed, developed, matured, and tested. Your base will be in Brande, Denmark.
As a Product Owner for the Bearing Lubrication Systems, you will be responsible for the development and specification of lubrication systems for the main- and blade bearings across the SGRE wind turbine portfolio. You will be the technical lead defining the requirements to the systems, specifying key test and validation activities and participate in ensuring the system integrity from a functional, operational, and maintenance perspective. You will need to be agile and strong in driving tasks with multiple stakeholders, including system suppliers, and be able to take lead on technical decisions and troubleshooting with a practical mindset in close collaboration with other specialists.
You will maintain the following responsibilities:
- Technical product ownership of all main- and blade bearing lubrication systems, ensuring design functionality, quality, and integrity.
- Drive the product development and risk analysis for the systems (DFMEA) together with the internal stakeholders to ensure proper product specification and verification testing.
- Specify product requirements towards suppliers.
- Specify verification requirements for new product variants.
- Take part in inspection and troubleshooting activities both on test assemblies and in prototyping environment.
- Ensure collaboration and close dialogue with sub-suppliers and solution providers.
- Take a central role in defining the supplier base and product strategy from a technical perspective in close collaboration with colleagues from the Procurement, Quality, and Service organizations.
What you need to make a difference:
- Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
- A technical background within mechanical engineering (MSc/BSc).
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Knowledge of lubrication systems (oil/grease), preferably bearing lubrication systems.
- A strong technical mindset with a hands-on approach.
- A methodical and structured approach, being able to specify a technical product, document technical findings, and keep an overview of the product portfolio within your area.
- The ability to work in a team environment that demands synergy and cooperation. Strong coordination and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Motivation by making things happen and taking pride in keeping people informed and updated on progress.
- Proficient English, both written and spoken, is a must.
