For our PMO team in Onshore Technology, we are looking for a Senior Module Project Manager to lead product development projects for future onshore wind turbines. You will join a PMO department of experienced project managers in a supportive and professional environment, where we expect to learn from you, just as you can expect to learn from us!
How to contribute to our vision
You’ll lead projects in the given context with full responsibility for the results, driving the development of products, solutions and/or services that are right on time and competitive in the market place and/or drives research that ensures Siemens Gamesa technological lead position. You’ll interact with technical areas and stakeholders placed in an international working environment.
You’re responsible for successfully executing large and complex projects and operates on an overall abstraction level, across several domains (EL, NAC, HUB, GEN, TO, BL, L&C, SW etc.). The main interfaces are the domains, and towards corporate functions and governance. where you’re:
  • Full project responsibility in terms of time, cost and quality delivered - from scoping phase until project closure
  • Lead the project teams in close cooperation with the technically responsible engineers, solution owners and Chief Engineers
  • Project execution in accordance with Siemens Gamesa Technology processes and tools
  • Coordination with other modules, prototype & component validation, supply-chain and as well with external suppliers and partners
What you need to make a difference

A Project Manager with background or experience in wind turbine design or application.
Preferably, you have an engineering degree within mechanical, electrical, electromechanical or marine engineering combined with several years of experience in project management, product development and or R&D.
It is an advantage having experience with project management of large and complex projects with multiple stakeholders and suppliers. having a structured approach to your assignments and handle project in a dynamic R&D environment to the full satisfaction of your stakeholders.
  • It is an requirement that you have documented your experience through relevant Project Management certification (IPMA, PMP) and a relevant project track record
  • You have min. +5 years of Project Management Experience
  • You thrive in a multi-cultural environment with leadership style fostering development of trust and you are familiar with working in large matrix organizations
  • It is a requirement to have strong communication skills in English, both orally and in writing
  • You are outgoing and proactive, and you possess the ability to work both independently and in teams
  • You are prepared for travelling - normally not more than 15-25 days / year
