For our Turbine Control SW team, we are looking for a talented Linux Product Owner looking to drive future turbine control SW solutions together with our development teams. You will become part of a dynamic, skilled, and engaged team of PM/POs, engineers, testers & architects developing market leading software for the wind turbines of the future. The collaboration & communication with stakeholders is key to the success of our SW solutions. For us technology is a passion, and we are always open to new ideas. How to contribute to our vision
We have a new Linux based platform to be used in several different use cases. Therefore, we seek a skilled PO with good technical knowledge on embedded Linux/Yocto for this platform. Based on input from stakeholders you can ensure the availability of a high-quality platform with the needed capabilities. Cyber security is a factor here as well so some knowledge here is needed.
As a Product Owner you will drive roadmap input, planning, definition of tasks, prioritization, execution in cooperation with team members & stakeholders. You will collaborate with SW architect(s) but Yocto configuration, device drivers, kernel, BSB, bootstrap, container frameworks on top of Linux are something you know about.
We are inspired by the SAFe set-up, with scrum teams, ARTs, PI planning etc. and you will have an important role here as well. We strive for quality SW deliveries and use agile methods, automation, highly skilled people, and good tools to help reaching our goals. You will be involved in preparation for PI & iteration planning and in the end accepting the solutions done.
As a PO within turbine control SW you participate in development projects delivering solutions for the whole company and our customers. This is a mix of new SW features, support for new turbine solutions, maintaining solutions as well as participation in technology projects. You can take part in shaping the future of wind energy by joining us.

Experience in the PO role and Yocto in agile set-ups combined with a degree in Software, Electronics, Computer Science or similar will be our ideal candidate. You thrive in walking the extra mile to create and deliver quality software. You enjoy having an overview of multiple tasks and have a talent for prioritization and execution. You can work in a structured manner and attend to detail also under pressure. Preferably you have experience with task handling systems like Jira or similar.
You know the advantages of test automation and continuous integration. You have knowledge of versioning systems (GIT) and branching strategies.
As a person you have a technical mindset, good collaboration skills, thrives in a multicultural environment and communicate efficiently with various stakeholders. Furthermore, you have high professional competency, and you have a desire to develop your skills. You are dedicated to continuously improving processes and ways of working around the team and yourself. You are willing to change decisions or direction based on new leanings and continuously seek knowledge to optimize on deliveries and team setups.
