For our HR Services Team Denmark & NEME countries, we are looking for an experienced Global Mobility Tax Specialist to be part of our Global Mobility team working with the entire operational HR set-up globally.

As our new Global Mobility Tax Specialist, you will provide country support incl. assigned countries, and consulting on Global Mobility related cases, ensuring that the initiation, set-up and support of project-related assignments, application of agreed Global Mobility policies and guidelines, is handled correctly.

How To Contribute To Our Vision

In this position you will work closely with other regional global mobility partners, HRBPs on all levels, Global Mobility vendors, Global HR BPO and CoE and focus on coordination and provision of global mobility policy and process advice within their assigned geographic scope.

In addition to this, you will assist business and Global HR BPO throughout the workforce planning process, providing specialist advice on mobility aspects (tax, social security, tax assessments, , etc.) as well as escalating risks and complex cases to Global CoE for advice and/or approval.

Our Global Mobility Tax Specialist will be working closely together with a wide range of stakeholders and task will include coordination with the local and global HR Services team to identify any interdependencies with other HR process such as Compensation and Payroll.

Your Responsibilities Will Further Include
  • Preparing compensation report including salary split for external vendors
  • Implement and follow up on shadow payroll
  • Support and guide payroll provider in implementation of hypo tax / tax protection
  • Control foreign tax return, pay foreign taxes and prepare final tax settlement to assignees
  • Support assignees and managers in individual tax cases
  • Support tax audit
  • Performing regular controls to ensure that operational end to end processes are working correctly
  • Direct contact with employees and managers supporting them in using our internal international traveler system, and provide support regarding questions related to tax organizer, tax settlements, etc.
  • Providing Global Mobility policy and process advice and coordinate with global/local vendors to seek specialist advice as needed (e.g. social security, tax, etc.)
  • Supporting Mobility Partners with evaluating work from home and abroad requests from managers and employees
  • Identifying trends and patterns to suggest continuous improvement initiatives related to global or local processes
  • Providing ad hoc tax advice for the Danish Entity on matters such as salary reporting, taxation of benefits, share programs, etc.
  • Functional lead of HR employees in GM DK team working within same area of responsibility
What You Need To Make a Difference

To be successful in this position, you preferably have a University degree in Commercial Law (Cand. Merc. Jur.) or Master of Laws (Cand. Jur.). You have experience working with Tax and Global Mobility in an international context. You have a passion for working with processes and preferably have experience in dealing with cases involving multiple countries.

As a person you are detail oriented, can meet deadlines and have experience working with IT systems such as Excel and Global Mobility tools. User knowledge of SAP ERP and advanced user knowledge in Excel is an added advantage.

You must be quality driven and have an analytical approach to problem solving and a “can do” attitude. You are self-motivated and independent as well as team oriented. It is important that you can set priorities and follow them. You must be able to quickly learn country specific regulatory and legal requirements that impact the business.

You also have great communication skills that enable you to interact seamlessly with colleagues as well internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, you must have proven stakeholder management skills to be able to deal with a wide variety of people, locally and regionally.
