The position is a central role in our Equipment Project Management department with the responsibility of executing projects in relation to transport, storage and installation of our key turbine components. Do you want to execute highly complex equipment projects for key turbine components? Are you ready to lead complex development projects, delivering on time to customer satisfaction? Do you want to collaborate with highly skilled colleagues to bring new products to market in a fast growing and successful global company? Then you may want to join us in the Equipment Project Management team in Siemens Gamesa.
How to contribute to our vision
Our product line is growing and so is the Equipment department. As our Equipment Project Manager you will execute projects with responsibility for development of equipment to the turbine components both for transport, storage and installation. Our Project Manager will be a part of scoping the projects and you establish and align deliveries with the key stakeholders throughout the project from start to handover.
The key tasks are to ensure effective delivery of the right solutions in the right quality, motivate your team and perform overall scope management of your project. The Project Manager for Equipment will also be working with:
  • Execute the project within the defined requirements (e.g. budget, time, functionality).
  • Ensures business success and satisfaction of the customer and ensures professional stakeholder management.
  • Manage a network of technical specialists in order to realize customer specific components, systems or solutions.
  • Coordinate the engineering disciplines and the cooperation with involved engineering units including their interfaces.
  • Perform technical risk management and is responsible for the continuous evaluation of risk and opportunities

A self-driven and fact focused team player, who thrives working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. You will have strong analytical skills and qualitative oriented approach towards assignments. You should have excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders high and low in the organization.
You should hold a university degree in engineering, and with 5 years of experience within project management. If you have experience with New Product Development with multiple stakeholders and suppliers it will be an advantage.
You are capable of working, with people from different cultures at all organizational levels, and therefore also having excellent oral and written English skills.
