What You Can Expect
Over the course of two years, you’ll get hands-on experience, be actively integrated into the day-to-day activities of your teams and gain a deep understanding of our business. You'll rapidly build in-depth knowledge, discover solutions, and experience our business first-hand.
From day one, you will work on meaningful projects with three individually designed assignments, including one eight-months assignment abroad (Covid permitting).
You will be assigned a mentor and will shadow a role or position to support you in reaching your individual career goals and network with peers and business leaders. You’ll also have access to the resources to help you grow.
In this program, you will be an integral part of the Bearing team within Nacelle Technology. Together with industry leading experts, you will help drive one of the core technologies and define the next generation of wind turbines. You will be working closely with our Senior Key experts and Chief Engineers within the highly complex field of Main and Blade bearings for the wind turbines of the future. You will also be able to get first hand experience and participate in designing the advance testing facilities for WTG bearings.
The position is based in Brande Denmark, but the department has teams in Spain an India as well.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and will work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.
- You will be part of one of the core teams defining the state-of-the-art in wind turbine technology.
- You will participate in development of ground breaking technology for Main Bearings for large offshore WTG
- You will get a deep technical insight in the full life cycle of the product, from design, prototyping, and validation to industrialization, serial production, and fleet performance.
- You will get a holistic view of the business by engaging with several of the key stakeholders, including suppliers, procurement, quality, manufacturing plants, service, as well as other parts of the technology organization.
What You Bring
- Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
- A strong technical mindset with a hands-on approach.
- The ability to work in a team environment that demands synergy and cooperation. Strong coordination and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Significant practical work experiences up to 36 months including knowledge from internships, working student activities or employment
- A master's degree, doctoral degree, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related areas.
- Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working
- Excellent English skills to work in a multi-cultural environment and be flexible and mobile during the program
