We are looking for a New Area Lead Site Logistics for Nordic area. You will be part of the Site Logistics department.
How to contribute to our vision
As a new Area Lead you will be responsible for leadership of remote teams across the region to ensure consistency in process and delivery of all tasks.
Your tasks will be:
- Support in optimizing the stock in their area of influence.
- Implementation and optimization of MRP, reorder points in all warehouses.
- Creating and updating maintenance plans in SAP and creating service kits related to those plans.
- Responsible for placing orders to the Central Warehouse or suppliers as well as tracking them until receipt of the materials at destination is confirmed.
- Responsible for performing receipt of materials from the central warehouse or suppliers in the system.
- Coordinate with the Service Operations Manager who will confirm physical receipt of the material.
- Responsible for claiming materials pending receipt.
- Responsible for keeping all wind farm warehouses up to date when materials are being moved between warehouses.
- Analyze together with the Service Operations Manager, all deviations in the cyclic inventories of materials between what is contained in the system and the actual levels.
- Managing faulty materials, ensuring their swift return to the source warehouse, control of "child fault" attribution.
- Management of shipments of material and equipment to wind farm warehouses or maintenance teams, coordinating with the Service Operations Manager who will be responsible for preparing the shipments physically.
- Management, search and support in the material repair process at the facilities
Next these tasks you will also have team lead responsibilities such as mentoring, coaching and development of team within a matrixed organization to develop best practice and consistent approaches. Ensure we fulfil any local legislations/requirements when being a manager over people in other countries. Even though this is a team lead role it is expected to be part of the daily operations.
What you need to make a difference
Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:
A motivating team player, who is resilient, responsible, and structured with excellent communication skills. You interact with stakeholders high and low in the organization as well as external stakeholders. You are motivated by providing quality results within the deadlines and are happy to work in a dynamic organization and environment. Furthermore, we are looking service minded person, who is good in support company in core businesses.
We are looking for a person who have around 5 years of working experience withing service logistic area it is advantage experience within site logistic. You should be ready to support with logistics issues and monitoring given area. Managerial experience is required for this role since you will be responsible for team of approximately 15 people. You should be a natural leader, ready to help his team with giving tasks.
You are as a person curious and want to learn and contribute in the organization, as well as you are good at managing different stakeholders. You know how to plan and prioritize the given tasks within the project. Moreover, knowledge and user experience with SAP are welcome.
It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations. It is therefore important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
