Mechanical Design Engineer/ Solution Designer
1. Graduate/ Postgraduate in Electrical Engineering
2. 8-10 years of relevant experience (E.g.: Turbo machinery, Wind turbine or Heavy machinery)
3. Min 4-6 years of experience in Wind turbine design

Roles and responsibilities:
1. Design & development of wind turbine mechanical components from concept to serial production, meeting design requirements for functionality, robustness, cost effectiveness etc.
2. Design for X. Ownership to ensure quality of deliverables. Perform quality reviews & focus on continuous improvement.
3. Should have experience in NX Tool, Harnessing and Cable routing, Unigraphics. Should have primary experience in Electrical Systems Calculation and secondary in Mechanical Components
4. Well versed in sheet metal manufacturing, fabrication and finishing processes. Manufacturing experience is added advantage.
5. Specify realistic tolerances using GPS/GD&T.
6. Good knowledge of FMEA and risk assessments. Identify validation and verification requirements.
7. Exposure to International standards on safety and mechanical design.
8. Highly skilled in 3D/2D CAD design using NX. Experience in Teamcenter.
9. Experience of ERP systems like SAP.
10. Experience of VAVE.
11. Operate with an Innovative mindset and customer focus to deliver value.
12. Well versed in Product Design & development best practices.
13. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to successfully drive technical solutions working with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
14. Strong problem-solving attitude, facilitation and coaching skills.
15. Excellent personal organization, ability to prioritize and carry out multiple task.
