We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the successful execution of Industrial Steam Turbine and Generator projects throughout North America. In this role, you will be accountable for managing project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk to ensure predictable and successful project outcomes from order entry through the warranty period. Working closely with customers, and the three factories (Germany, Czechia and Brazil) project manager, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, as well as USA logistics, procurement, legal and field service teams, you will lead project execution activities while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction, financial performance, and contractual compliance.

How Youll Make an Impact

  • Serve as the primary customer-facing Project Manager, leading Industrial Steam Turbine and Generator projects from order entry through warranty completion while ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and customer expectations.
  • Lead project turnover from Sales to Execution, analyzing contracts, technical specifications, special requirements, reporting obligations, and key project milestones.
  • Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, risk registers, and mitigation strategies, while proactively identifying issues and implementing contingency plans.
  • Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, installation, and commissioning activities with factory project managers to achieve project objectives and contractual commitments.
  • Manage customer and stakeholder communications, including project status updates, design reviews, factory acceptance testing, witness points, customer acceptance activities, and executive presentations.
  • Monitor project scope, schedule, costs, financial performance, billings, collections, risks, claims, change orders, and closeout deliverables to ensure profitability, successful execution, and customer satisfaction.

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma/GED required (verifiable); bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred. Experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience managing industrial equipment, power generation, turbine-generator, EPC, or other capital projects. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
  • Preferred knowledge of steam turbine and generator systems, power generation principles, utility/grid integration, and project lifecycle management including engineering, manufacturing, logistics, document control, scheduling, and contract delivery.
  • Strong technical problem-solving, decision-making, stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills (additional languages a plus) with the ability to work independently, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively in global, multicultural environments.
  • Customer-focused, proactive, and adaptable with a strong sense of ownership; able to manage competing priorities and willing to travel up to 20% (mostly domestic but on occasion international), including extended travel of up to 4 weeks on larger projects.
