Production Supervisor
A Snapshot of Your Day In this role as a Production Supervisor for the first shift in the Wax area, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our turbine blade and vane manufacturing processes. Your role will revolve around leading and managing a dedicated team, overseeing wax production operations, and ensuring strict adherence to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) and quality protocols. You will focus on achieving output targets, optimizing resource utilization, and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. With your proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting, you will leverage your knowledge of production planning, workflow management, and quality control to effectively guide your team and tackle daily operational challenges. How You'll Make an Impact
- Supervise and lead a team of production technicians & manufacturing equipment operators, ensuring adherence to company policies, safety practices, and performance goals.
- Oversee first-shift wax production operations, managing workflows, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining accurate production records.
- Enforce Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations to ensure a safe working environment and monitor product quality.
- Provide coaching and performance feedback to foster team development and address employee relations issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean or Kaizen, to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste. What You Bring
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field, preferred but not required - We will consider experience in lieu of a degree.
- Over 3 years of direct supervisory experience in investment casting or similar production processes, along with 5+ years in manufacturing, including alignment, assembly, casting, welding, and machining.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary production team environment, with demonstrated experience in conflict resolution with an hourly manufacturing workforce.
- Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.

- This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
