A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Project Planner at Siemens Energy in Denmark, you will be a key part of the PMO team supporting the execution of electrical substation projects within offshore wind, Power-to-X, and the energy transmission sector. Your day will involve close collaboration with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and international stakeholders as you plan, monitor, and optimize project schedules from execution through handover to Services or the customer.

You will work on one or more complex projects that can span several years, contributing directly to the green transition and the reliable delivery of large-scale energy infrastructure.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Play a significant role in the successful execution of offshore wind and energy transmission substation projects
  • Support projects throughout the entire execution phase until handover to Operations or clients
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules based on contractual requirements, delivery milestones, manpower loading, and internal procedures
  • Define and structure project scope through Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
  • Plan and manage project resources, including generation of S-curves and resource histograms
  • Track progress, update forecasts, perform scenario analyses, and compare actual versus planned performance
  • Monitor and control resource usage and project deliverables
  • Communicate directly with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to provide schedule updates, analyze risks, and propose mitigation plans
  • Prepare and present decision-making material for Senior Project Management and customers
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and development plans within the PMO and Quality teams


What You Bring

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, project management, business administration, or a similar field
  • At least 3 years of experience in project planning for high-voltage or large-scale construction projects
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project
  • Advanced IT skills and solid experience with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Power BI is an advantage
  • A customer-focused mindset and motivation to work in an international, cross-cultural environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • PMP-SP, IPMA, or similar certification is an advantage
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
