Environmental Compliance/Sustainability Engineer

We are seeking an Environmental Compliance/Sustainability Engineer II to support environmental compliance programs and sustainability initiatives across our operations. This role focuses on regulatory compliance, environmental reporting, emissions tracking, permit management, sustainability performance, and continuous improvement initiatives that help reduce environmental impact while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Job Purpose To support environmental compliance and sustainability programs through regulatory reporting, permit management, data analysis, environmental improvement projects, and sustainability initiatives that advance the company's environmental and sustainability objectives. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and submit environmental reports, permit applications, emissions inventories, and other technical documentation, including TRI, Tier II, stormwater DMRs, and annual/biennial waste reports • Support compliance with environmental regulations including RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, EPCRA, TSCA, and other applicable federal, state, and local requirements • Monitor regulatory changes and assist with implementation of compliance requirements • Participate in process improvement initiatives and manage corrective actions through completion • Collect, analyze, and report sustainability metrics, providing recommendations for continuous improvement • Collaborate with site personnel and operations teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of environmental and sustainability data • Identify, prioritize, and implement sustainability initiatives related to greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption, water use, and waste reduction • Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve environmental and sustainability objectives • Support the design and implementation of environmental control s
