Sustainability & ESG Specialist - Sales Focus

As we continue to expand our impact in the sustainability space, we are looking for a Sustainability & ESG Specialist for Sales Enablement to join our growing team. This role will play a key part in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and effectively communicating the value of our sustainability-focused services. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and a genuine passion for sustainability, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive growth and client success.
The key duties of the successful candidate are:
- Own sector-specific pipelines across industries like finance, manufacturing, and logistics,
- Manage the full proposal lifecycle — from discovery scoping to final pricing — aligned with complex ESG and climate service packages (e.g. CSRD, IFRS S2, Carbondeck),
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to build tailored, feasibility-checked client solutions,
- Use HubSpot CRM rigorously to maintain pipeline health, track progress, and enable forecasting,
- Mentor junior team members, offering guidance on proposal logic, messaging, and client communication,
- Identify and activate upsell/cross-sell opportunities and support strategic expansion.
The requirements for the successful candidate are:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree,
- 3+ years in a consultative sales, client solutions, or business development role (preferably in ESG, climate tech, or professional services),
- Proven experience crafting custom, multi-service proposals for high-value clients,
- Strong command of ESG, climate, and sustainability frameworks (e.g., CSRD, SBTi, IFRS S1/S2),
- Excellent client communication and storytelling skills (both in Turkish & English),
- Full proficiency in HubSpot CRM — from pipeline updates to proposal tracking,
- Confidence to lead meetings, challenge assumptions, and push for client value,
- Based in Istanbul (preferably on the Anatolian side),
- Willing to work in a hybrid model (remote work is not available for this role).
