About the Role:

The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing and warehouse operations to ensure efficient production and distribution processes. This position is responsible for driving operational excellence by managing resources, streamlining workflows, and implementing cost control measures that align with the company’s strategic objectives. The successful candidate will lead and develop teams to enhance employee performance and maintain a safe, productive work environment. They will collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards. Ultimately, the Operations Manager will ensure that operational goals are met while fostering a culture of accountability and high performance across all levels of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of managing teams and improving employee performance.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations and best practices.
  • Experience with cost control and budget management in an operational setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Operations Management.
  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with advanced warehouse management systems (WMS) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
  • Demonstrated success in leading large teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices and environmental compliance in manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day manufacturing and warehouse operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate team members to improve employee performance and promote professional development.
  • Implement and monitor workplace safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and control operational budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments to optimize supply chain processes and resolve operational challenges promptly.

Employee performance skills enable the manager to motivate and develop staff, fostering a productive and engaged workforce. Cost control skills are applied to manage budgets effectively, identify inefficiencies, and implement cost-saving initiatives without sacrificing quality or safety.
