Help us create a better future, quicker

We know that our people are our strongest asset, so we’re always looking for individuals whose energy, skill and passion can help us reach our goals. This is an opportunity for you to be at the heart of the UK’s journey to Net Zero by leading and influencing regulation and policy decisions to create a Net Zero economy and reach CleanPower 2030.

Our Transmission network is fundamental to the growth of low carbon technologies as we guide and shape the policy landscape in which Transmission networks operate to achieve Government, Ofgem and the National Energy System Operator’s (NESO) targets.

The policy, regulatory framework and operational licence is critical to enabling SP Energy Networks (SPEN) to successfully deliver the Transmission network that the Scottish and UK Government targets require. SPEN will invest over £10bn in Transmission projects by 2031 to make this possible.

At the heart of all business visions and activities are the people whose individual efforts and performance make it happen. We encourage our people to be proud of where they work, to share their ideas and to own their careers. We promote a safe working environment and push people to shape and progress their careers so that we grow our talent within the company.

  • Support on ad-hoc regulatory issues identified by the Transmission Regulation Manager
  • Supporting on any CMA or Judicial Review appeals process
  • Identify relevant external publications and events to monitor the regulatory landscape, review or attend these to report to the Transmission regulation team on any relevant matters which may directly impact the business
