What You’ll Be Doing

Providing support to the PMO Manager and the wider Leadership team by tracking KPI and financial performance for SMART Grid Operations. You will ensure robust data flows and analysis to furnish senior stakeholders with meaningful and insightful Management Information. Manage project and programme delivery reporting and immediately highlight deviations from plan.

  • Collate KPI reporting across the SGO team identifying data sources and industrialising reporting into a PowerBI Platform. Collate data for the operational and delivery supply chain and reconcile with internal data sets to ensure we have aligned and accurate reporting across the supply chain.
  • Provide the team with meaning full insights via robust financial reporting processes.
  • Consolidate and manage financial and resourcing plans.
  • Produce monthly executive reports and weekly management reports.
  • Support governance forums, record actions, communicate updates, and maintain documentation in shared areas.
  • Maintain the PMO SharePoint site and calendar; communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing and rolling out updates to Programme Office processes.
  • Work with the wider SGO team and supply chain to enhance data quality
  • Consolidate and manage dossier pipeline reporting.
  • Conduct SAP reconciliations against budget spreadsheets.
  • Perform benefit reviews and identify opportunities to improve SGOPs project and financial processes.
  • Support regulatory and financial reporting for SGOPs.
  • Gather, manipulate, and analyse data to provide meaningful insights.


What You’ll Bring

  • Experience working in a PMO environment.
  • Strong background in performance, project reporting, control, business planning, and budgetary management.
  • Proven ability to track and report project deliverables accurately.
  • Skilled in liaising with multiple stakeholders, including Programme/Project Managers.
  • Ability to produce accurate, relevant work under tight deadlines.
  • Proactive in addressing non-compliance with project management tools.
  • Understanding of KPIs and RAG status to ensure effective delivery.
  • Experience creating compelling presentations on varied subjects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to use initiative and build networks to achieve outcomes.
  • Skilled in coaching others on tools and technologies.


As a minimum, you will demonstrate

  • Project/Programme Management experience.
  • Commercial awareness and financial understanding.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Power BI and Visio.
  • Ability to manipulate data to deliver actionable insights.
