The IT Application Consultant will play a pivotal role in supporting the Corporate Digital Transformation area, which provides services to 17 corporate functions. As part of the Corporate division, the Application Consultant contributes to the development and implementation of the IT Strategy for UK Corporate Solutions, ensuring alignment with both local and global requirements.
What you’ll be doing
Operating as a senior member across multiple project teams, you will be responsible for making application design decisions, managing and delivering effective application solutions, and collaborating with global technology teams and external vendors on behalf of ScottishPower’s UK businesses.
A key aspect of the role is to provide expert advice and UK input to the global definition of strategy, standards, and procedures for specific application areas. The remit covers a broad range of UK IT applications, including key corporate packaged solutions, customer service digital solutions, and emerging digital technologies.
You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels—including very senior executives—to gather requirements for new functionalities, lead workshops, and ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives. Experience or knowledge of ServiceNow is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
As well as a competitive salary which is reviewed annually, you can also enjoy a number of other benefits. With our pension scheme, we’ll double match your contribution up to a company contribution of 10%.
