We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Dumfries & Galloway team within SP Energy Networks’ Distribution business. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in delivering overhead line refurbishment projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and business objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supervise overhead line contractors delivering projects in Dumfries & Galloway.
  • Manage site delivery of underground cable laying projects
  • Develop robust project plans to minimise outages and meet licence obligations.
  • Liaise with landowners, customers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor performance targets including capex spend, technical closure, and customer service.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with all safety legislation and standards.


What You’ll Bring

  • Project/programme coordination experience.
  • Knowledge of regulatory environment and incentive mechanisms.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and devise solutions to challenges.
  • Technical and operational experience in a relevant engineering role.
  • Working knowledge of construction and maintenance standards (LV up to 33kV).
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with systems such as SAP.


Minimum Criteria

  • Crafts qualification, apprenticeship, S/NVQ, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous LV experience.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Relevant network construction and operational experience.
