Quality Analyst

Location: Delain House, Cumbernauld, Glasgow

Salary From £38,400 to £48,000 + up to 10% bonus and Private Medical

Our Technical Training team supports apprentices, experienced employees, and contractors across the business, ensuring they have the competence, confidence, and capability to work safely and effectively in the electricity supply industry.

Join our Planning team at Dealain House and use your industry experience to analyse training data, both current and historical to strategically plan for the growing workforce ensuring training needs are being met for our businesses

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support technical training needs analysis across the different business areas
  • Ensure training is meeting business requirements in a timely manner
  • Work closely with all other functions within Technical Training, including the internal training delivery, quality assurance and contracts teams
  • Be responsible for collecting, formatting, interrogating and analysing data obtained from a variety of platforms and systems, including internal and external sources, and using this to compile training programmes and campaigns
  • Develop and maintain data models to output consistent and transferrable reports and analysis informing Technical Training planning and decision making. This includes capacity planning, financial modelling, and resource operations and planning
  • Be able to work with limited oversight to process data and other diverse information into high quality presentable programme outputs that can be shared with senior stakeholders and external organisations.
  • Support product and technique development for operational teams
  • Continuously monitor and review training data to make the best use of resources available and identify where potential future shortages may occur.


What You’ll Bring

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office 365, including MS Power Apps
  • Good knowledge of Workday, AMS and other data platforms
  • Advanced proficiency in handling and analysing large data sets
  • Previous experience in a data analytics role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to adequately summarise key information
  • Excellent planning and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and think differently
  • Flexible and adaptable to respond to changing priorities
  • Confident and resilient to work in a complex and changing environment
