This Programme Administrator role is key to supporting Scottish Power Manweb (SPM) Hazard & Defect Clearance Programme. You’ll be administrative assistant for finance and data, reporting, co-ordinations of programmes and resourcing and supporting the project managers. With the usage of technical systems, we’re looking for someone with great communication, organisation, and initiative.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Administration assistance for finance and data (running financial reports, creating Purchase Orders, identifying trends/issues, tracking cost/spend)
  • Conducting Quality Assurance (QA) on returned work.
  • Assist in consolidation of work packages within each project.
  • Weekly running and creation of reports.
  • Resource/material demands, monitoring progress to delivery.
  • Monitoring compliance across systems and processes (Salesforce, PPM, SAP)
  • Supporting project managers with all delivery aspects.
  • Being a key member of the programme team, contributing to a positive and productive working environment
  • Maintaining high quality standards and supporting health, safety and environmental compliance


What You’ll Bring

  • Strong planning and organising skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Confidence working across teams and following up on actions
  • Solid administrative experience in a busy environment
  • Familiarity with business IT systems (training can be provided)
  • Familiarity using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn


Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience with SAP, IRIS, VPB scheduling, AIS
  • Understanding of Energy Networks policies and practices
  • Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation
  • Customer service and stakeholder engagement skills


Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in a multi-stranded project support/co-ordination role or equivalent
  • Familiarity with SAP, CCT and IRIS systems or similar Corporate systems.
  • Computer literacy (e.g. Microsoft Office suite) particularly Excell.
