Campaign Associate (Climate & Clean Transportation Advocacy)
Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Campaign Associate – Clean Transportation & Climate Policy on behalf of a respected, mission-driven organization focused on environmental advocacy and climate action.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Campaign Associate will play a key role in advancing climate and clean transportation initiatives, with a focus on heavy-duty vehicle electrification and corporate accountability campaigns. This position supports the execution of advocacy strategies, coalition coordination, and stakeholder engagement across a global network of partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support execution of corporate accountability campaign strategies targeting heavy-duty truck manufacturers and related industry stakeholders across priority global regions
• Collaborate with leadership and campaign partners to implement coalition strategies, coordinate advocacy efforts, and elevate partner initiatives
• Maintain and support a network of organizations focused on decarbonization, zero-emission transportation, and corporate accountability
• Track industry opposition, policy developments, and regulatory updates to inform campaign strategy
• Conduct research and develop campaign materials, including one-pagers, memos, and strategic content
• Assist in identifying and engaging new partners to expand campaign reach and impact
• Coordinate communications efforts, including messaging, social media guidance, and advocacy materials in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
• Provide administrative and operational support to ensure campaign milestones, deliverables, and timelines are met
QUALIFICATIONS
• 3–5 years of experience in advocacy campaigns, coalition coordination, policy, or related fields
• Working knowledge of climate policy, clean transportation, and/or electric vehicle initiatives
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, partners, and decision-makers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including policy writing, editing, and public presentation
• Experience with campaign development, grassroots organizing, or movement-building
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and familiarity with digital advocacy tools
• Strong judgment, initiative, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience working with environmental justice organizations or communities
• Background in policy advocacy or corporate accountability campaigns
• International or global advocacy experience
• Grantmaking exposure or experience supporting funding initiatives
• Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position offers a salary range of $85,000–$95,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including fully employer-paid health coverage, retirement options, generous paid time off, and additional wellness and support benefits.
