We are looking for a maternity cover for 8 months starting from 1. August 2026.

You’ll become a key part of Schou’s ESG and Sustainability team, taking responsibility for our climate accounting framework and SBTi roadmap. You’ll support the organization with solid calculations, clear insights, and strong governance, while helping business units identify and implement concrete climate initiatives.
You’ll drive progress on our SBTi‑aligned roadmap and make sure there is alignment and follow‑up across the organization. Together with internal stakeholders and external climate consultants, you’ll develop our SBTi transition plan. An important part of the role is connecting data, strategy, and execution by supporting management and business owners with analyses, decision material, and recommendations on decarbonization pathways.
You’ll also play an important role in our sustainability reporting, ensuring timely and accurate climate data for both the annual report and selected key customers, working closely with internal stakeholders.

Your Main Responsibilities
- Manage the overall climate accounting together with relevant stakeholders.
- Own and drive the SBTi commitment.
- Develop the SBTi transition plan, including analyses and recommendations for management decision‑making.
- Support business units with data, insights, and advice focused on emissions reductions and continuous improvements, including at product level.
- Ensure high data quality, governance, and documentation.
- Support other sustainability tasks related to regulatory and customer requirements, such as Amfori, CBAM, ETS2, and more.
- A master’s degree in environmental science, engineering, sustainability, or a similar field.
- At least 2 years of experience with climate accounting based on the GHG Protocol.
- Proven experience with SBTi and business‑driven decarbonization strategies.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; basic Danish skills are required.
