Project Manager
Schneider Electric is looking for a Service Project Manager for the Las Vegas, NV areaWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate service projects within Building Management Systems (BMS) and Security Solutions environments. In this role, you will oversee daily service operations, manage project execution from initiation through completion, collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.The ideal candidate combines strong project management capabilities with a technical understanding of building automation and security systems, enabling them to effectively support project implementation and customer success.Service Operations & Daily ManagementOversee daily onsite service activities, including service projects, service quotes, time-and-material work orders, and on-demand service resource allocation.Coordinate service resources to ensure timely project execution and customer satisfaction.Partner with the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) to schedule and manage tasks associated with Service Agreements.Project Planning & ExecutionParticipate in site walkdowns alongside Schneider Electric sales teams and customer site security personnel as required.Manage all phases of service projects, ensuring successful delivery and operational excellence.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and billing activities.Coordinate resource planning and support requests, including network IP coordination and staffing needs.Stakeholder CommunicationServe as a key point of contact for customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and drive timely resolution of project issues.Attend and contribute to weekly project review meetings.Ensure project milestones, deliverables, and work orders are completed and closed efficiently.Project Documentation & Financial ManagementMaintain comprehensive project documentation, including: RFIs (Requests for Information)Meeting minutesPunch listsTransmittal and submittal logsChange order logsIssue tracking logsPrepare project revenue forecasts, schedules of values, and customer billings.Review, estimate, price, and process change orders.Drive project profitability through effective labor utilization, procurement strategies, outsourcing decisions, and cost management.Technical & Quality SupportProvide technical assistance for service projects and support basic field startup and commissioning activities.Assist with commissioning and startup of simple control systems to verify proper system operation.Conduct quality control inspections to ensure project deliverables meet customer and company standards.Safety & Inventory ManagementEnsure compliance with all customer safety protocols and site-specific requirements.Coordinate material deliveries and inventory management activities with warehouse and logistics teams.Required ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of combined experience in one or more of the following: Building Management Systems (BMS) Service TechnicianSecurity Systems Service TechnicianProject EngineerProject ManagerEquivalent experience within the building automation, controls, security, or construction industriesKnowledge & SkillsStrong understanding of project management principles within the construction, building automation, or security industries.Experience managing project correspondence, documentation, change management processes, claims, negotiations, subcontractors, and vendors.Advanced knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), including: HardwareSchneider Electric offers a robust benefits package to support our employees such as flexible work arrangements, paid family leave, 401(k)+ match, and more.
