Marketing & Communications Working Student
Your mission
You will help make Scale Energy visible to the world. In this role, you combine creativity with execution and turn complex energy topics into clear, compelling communication. You will work closely with our founders as well as our Operations and Sales teams to tell the story of what we are building and why it matters.
This is not a passive support role. We are looking for someone with real drive and a strong work ethic: someone who wants to take ownership early, learn fast, and contribute to the growth of an ambitious climate-tech company.

Your tasks:
- You create and coordinate content around our projects, partnerships, market developments, and company milestones, with a particular focus on LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
- You drive the development of press releases, blog articles, presentations, and other communication materials that make our work accessible and relevant to external audiences.
- You organise and prepare events, conferences, and industry appearances, and make sure we show up with clarity and professionalism.
- You research topics across energy, battery storage, and the energy transition, and turn your findings into sharp, usable content.
- You support the ongoing development of our marketing and communications strategy and bring your own ideas on how to improve what we do.
- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related field, and have a strong academic track record.
- You bring genuine curiosity for startups, technology, energy, and climate topics as well as a clear motivation to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- You stand out through first hands-on experience in social media, content creation, communications, PR, or brand building, whether through internships, working student roles, freelance work, university initiatives, or your own projects.
- You work in a structured, reliable, and proactive way. You take ownership, move quickly, and bring a hands-on mentality rather than waiting for instructions.
- You have good German and English skills, written and spoken.
