Roles And Responsibilities

As the Electronics Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of space-ready electronic hardware design and validation.

  • Hardware Design & Development (≈50%): Design and develop complex electronic hardware for high-performance space ready embedded systems. Perform component selection, schematic capture, and support PCB layout activities. Develop hardware architectures involving

FPGA-based systems, DDR4/DDR5 memory interfaces, NAND Flash/non-volatile memory subsystems, high-speed communication interfaces, clock generation/distribution circuits, and power architectures (POL converters, LDOs, power sequencing).

  • Layout & Simulation Verification: Review and validate PCB layouts with a strong emphasis on signal integrity, power integrity, grounding, EMC/EMI, and manufacturability considerations.Support hardware simulations, design verification, and debugging activities. Participate in prototype bring-up, functional testing, troubleshooting, and design validation.
  • Documentation & Engineering Records (≈25%): Prepare and maintain design documentation throughout the product lifecycle. Generate and maintain BoMs, component selection reports, simulation records, design calculations, test plans, test reports, verification records, and

engineering change documentation while ensuring strict quality and traceability.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination (≈20%): Work closely with Systems, Mechanical, Optics, and Firmware engineers on various interdisciplinary topics. Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and support system-level testing and troubleshooting activities.
  • Vendor Coordination (≈5%): Coordinate with PCB fabrication houses, assembly vendors, and component suppliers. Support technical discussions related to manufacturability, testing, qualification, and component availability.
