Role Description

We are hiring motivated individuals for three roles—Lead Software Engineer, Associate Software Engineer, and Software Engineer Intern—to contribute to the technical backbone of San Diego Climate Week. These full-time hybrid roles are based in Singapore, with flexibility to work remotely for part of the time. Responsibilities include software development, programming, and optimizing back-end systems to support the initiative’s digital platforms. Candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain scalable, efficient software solutions that align with organizational goals.


Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development fundamentals
  • Experience with Back-End Web Development and Programming methodologies
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in hybrid team environments and communicate technical insights clearly
  • Previous experience or interest in environmental sustainability and climate action is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (required for Lead and Associate roles; actively pursuing degree for Intern role)
