Hello! We are Samara, the solar installation startup that goes beyond self-consumption. We are here to accelerate the energy transition of households towards a more efficient, smarter and more sustainable model.


We firmly believe that the climate crisis is the biggest challenge facing our generation. Housing, in particular, is one of the main sources of carbon emissions in developed countries. We are optimistic by nature and think it is possible to do things differently: one that combines electrification, distributed generation, energy storage and software that enables more efficient energy management.

In Spain, more than 67% of the population lives in multi-family buildings. During the time we have been working with communities, we have identified the opportunity this represents for Samara due to, among other reasons, the following points: Difficult access to renewable energy generation installations due to the cost for the community, very high prices from energy suppliers, and limited digitalisation in an archaic market.

Therefore, we have set ourselves the goal of carrying out as many solar installations as possible in communities and improving their energy rates through our 100% renewable energy supplier.

What are you going to do? ?

You will be part of the initial Community Sales team, and you will be the first point of contact with Property Managers (PMs) to help them support their Communities to transition to Solar energy. These will be some of your duties:

  • Socialise Samara and our products among Property Managers in your given area of coverage.
  • Close collaboration agreements with Property Managers so they prescribe our products, including Solar installations and Energy tariffs.
  • Be present and available to support Property Managers: physical meetings are common in this industry and neighbours meetings are a must to sell Solar installations.
  • Work with the Samara team to prepare robust proposals to help Community buildings achieve savings in their energy costs.
  • Build a book of engaged Property Managers that actively share business opportunities with Samara.
  • Carry out a thoughtful and diligent commercial process both with Property Managers and interested Community buildings that want to adopt Samara’s solutions.
  • Once the contract is signed, do a proper handover to our Project Managers to convert Community Opportunities into happy Samara customers.
  • Create strong links with the rest of the team to ensure that Samara works as one team.
  • Help build a unique company-wide culture as we redefine the energy industry forever.

  • Organised and detail-oriented: You’re a highly organised professional with strong collaboration skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Mobility: You’ll need your own vehicle to visit property managers, attend homeowners’ association meetings (juntas de propietarios), and close sales in person.
  • Problem-solving mindset: You’re resourceful and proactive when facing new challenges, capable of independently researching and resolving issues you haven’t encountered before.
  • Accountability: You take full ownership of opportunities and see them through to the finish line.
  • Customer-centric: You’re passionate about helping customers and prescribers, listening carefully to their needs and guiding them to lower energy bills—while making a positive impact on the planet.
  • People-first values: You embody Samara’s cultural values by putting people first in everything you do.
  • Flexible and resilient: You thrive in a startup environment where iteration is constant. Mistakes are part of the journey—but you’re quick to learn and improve.
  • Adaptable: You feel at home in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.
  • Relevant experience: Sales experience is highly valued, even if it’s not in the energy sector. We’ll tailor your onboarding to suit your background and experience.
  • Language: Fluency in Spanish is required.
