Sales Manager (B2B) – Climate Tech

We’re hiring a Sales Manager (B2B) to join a rapidly growing Climate Tech startup on a mission to accelerate the energy transition through smart financing solutions. This is not a classic sales role — it’s about building long-term B2B partnerships, owning the full sales cycle, and driving measurable results.


⚠️ Important: This role is not remote. Regular presence in our Berlin office (4 days/week) is essential.

Your Mission


You’ll be a key driver within the Partner & Sales team, responsible for converting warm and semi-warm B2B leads into long-term partnerships across Germany.

This role is about execution, ownership, and speed — supported by CRM systems, automation, and close collaboration with Sales Leadership.



What You’ll Do

• Actively acquire and develop B2B partners across Germany

• Follow up on warm leads via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels

• Own the end-to-end sales process up to successful partner onboarding

• Build trust and excitement with potential partners

• Follow up on webinars, events, and inbound interest

• Qualify leads and manage them through the sales pipeline

• Maintain clean and structured CRM data (e.g. HubSpot)

• Test and optimise outreach approaches (this is not heavy cold calling)

• Work closely with the Sales Lead and automation processes


What We’re Looking For

• Strong sales mindset with a clear focus on performance and results

• 1–3+ years of experience in B2B Sales, Sales Development, or Business Development

• Experience in startups, scale-ups, FinTech, consulting, or similar environments is a plus

• German at C2 / native-level fluency (mandatory)

• Good working knowledge of English

• Experience working with CRM systems and structured pipelines

• Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments

• Entrepreneurial attitude, ownership mentality, and drive to go the extra mile


Compensation

• Base salary: €60,000 gross per year

• OTE: €75,000 – €82,000 (base + performance-based bonus)

• Transparent bonus structure with attractive upside for strong performance
