About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Operating at the intersection of business, policy, and ecosystem engagement, the Director, Impact (LATAM) will localize global strategies across: AI for Impact, Sustainability, Education, and Employee Impact. You are the "strategic link" that converts global impact initiatives into a competitive differentiator and commercial catalyst for the LATAM market.

We are seeking a trilingual leader (English, Spanish, Portuguese) with deep sustainability expertise and the commercial acumen to navigate a complex, highly-matrixed global organization. You are an expert at driving change through influence, managing high-stakes partnerships, and translating global impact goals into regional results.

Based in São Paulo, Mexico City, or Buenos Aires, this role reports to regional Government Affairs leadership with a dotted line to the global Impact Team. The LATAM Impact Director is a member of the LATAM Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy, Advocacy & Ecosystem Development
  • Regional Leadership: Own the end-to-end LATAM Impact strategy, translating global commitments into localized programs.
  • Policy & Advocacy: Lead the regional advocacy agenda aligned with Impact public policy principles in collaboration with Government Affairs, targeting public sector stakeholders.
  • Catalytic Philanthropy: Identify LATAM high-impact grantee opportunities and impact startups, connecting them to Salesforce's philanthropy, technology, and global platforms.
  • Global Influence: Serve as the "Voice of LATAM" within the global Impact Team, ensuring regional market nuances shape global strategic planning.
  • Internal Advocacy & Mobilization: Drive internal advocacy for the Impact agenda — enabling and aligning leadership, collaborating with the global Employee Impact and regional Equality teams, and ensuring Impact programming is consistently embedded in internal communications and operating unit priorities.
  • Customer & Commercial Engagement
  • Strategic Sales Support: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Solution Engineering to integrate Impact narratives into strategic account engagements, positioning Salesforce’s values as a key differentiator.
  • AI & Agentforce Advisory: Serve as the regional support lead and engage key customers on both AI Sustainability (optimizing environmental footprint) and AI for Impact (leveraging Agentforce to solve social and environmental challenges), in partnership with the global Impact team.
  • Restoration Economy: Shape Salesforce's presence in LATAM's nature-positive economy — identifying opportunities across blue carbon, green finance, carbon markets, and agroforestry that connect regional restoration markets to Salesforce's global Nature Positive strategy.
  • Public Sector Collaboration: Support the Public Sector team in engaging regional government.
  • Product Connectivity: Connect customers to Salesforce's impact portfolio (Agentforce Net Zero, Agentforce Nonprofit, Agentforce Education, and Trailhead) where these solutions support their broader impact goals.
  • Customer Success Storytelling: Identify and elevate compelling regional customer impact stories to global platforms, marquee events, and thought leadership forums.
  • Communications, PR & Events
  • Regional Spokesperson: Represent Salesforce's impact leadership across media, government, and industry forums in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
  • Executive Positioning: Partner with LATAM PR to author thought leadership and op-eds to position regional executives as champions of responsible, sustainable business.
  • Marquee Programming: Design and execute the LATAM Impact narrative at regional and global events (Salesforce World Tours, Dreamforce, Climate Action Weeks).

Skills

  • Commercial & Policy Acumen: Strong familiarity with LATAM’s regulatory landscape (carbon markets, AI ethics, environmental law) and the ability to translate these into business value.
  • Leadership: 10+ years of professional experience, with proven track record in corporate responsibility and sustainability. Experience in philanthropy or education is an asset.
  • Impact Network: A robust, existing network across regional governments, NGOs, development banks, and the sustainability community in LATAM.
  • Executive Influence: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a proven track record of acting as a trusted advisor to executives and leadership.
  • AI Fluency: A strong curiosity for or understanding of the intersection between technology and impact, with the ability to articulate the sustainability value proposition of AI and cloud solutions.
  • Multicultural & Languages: Professional fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, with the cultural ability to navigate and influence diverse LATAM markets.
