We’re creating a distributed network of intelligent devices that respond in real time to clean energy generation—accelerating decarbonization in the largest contributor to climate change: the energy sector.
Backed by Series A funding and serving customers across New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Texas, we’re scaling quickly—and we’re hiring a Sales Manager to help lead the charge.
The Opportunity
This is not a “step away from selling” management role.
We’re hiring a Player–Coach Sales Manager who will:
- Carry and exceed an enterprise quota
- Lead, coach, and elevate a team of Account Executives
- Model what disciplined, high-quality enterprise selling looks like
You will stay close to the market, close complex deals yourself, and use that firsthand experience to raise the bar across the team.
What You’ll Own
1) AE Team Leadership (Coach & Manager)
You will directly manage a team of Account Executives and be accountable for pipeline quality, rep development, and consistent performance.
You will:
- Run structured weekly 1:1s focused on:
- Deal strategy
- Pipeline health
- Skill development
- Coach reps on:
- Deep discovery
- Value articulation
- Multi-threading and stakeholder mapping
- Enterprise deal progression
- Inspect deals (not just activity)
- Support late-stage negotiations and critical customer calls
- Drive consistent Salesforce hygiene and process adherence
- Help build and refine repeatable upmarket plays
This is hands-on leadership. You will actively elevate deal quality and execution standards.
2) Enterprise Revenue Ownership (Player)
You will personally own and close strategic, high-ACV enterprise accounts.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying an individual enterprise quota
- Full-cycle ownership: prospecting → discovery → solution design → negotiation → close
- Leading multi-stakeholder sales processes across operations, finance, and executive buyers
- Building ROI-driven business cases
- Running structured mutual action plans
- Leading complex commercial negotiations
- Maintaining disciplined forecasting and pipeline management
You will model precision, structure, and executive-level selling.
3) Cross-Functional Influence
As a frontline leader, you’ll bring market intelligence directly into the organization.
You will:
- Provide structured feedback on customer needs and buying dynamics
- Identify trends in enterprise sales cycles
- Help shape scalable, repeatable upmarket strategies
- Collaborate closely with product, operations, and leadership
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, including enterprise/complex deals
- 1–2 years of direct team leadership experience
- Proven success as both: A top-performing individual contributor & An effective sales leader
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder, high-ACV sales cycles
- Strong coaching ability and demonstrated rep development
- Executive-level communication and negotiation skills
- Structured sales methodology experience
- Strong Salesforce proficiency
- Experience in energy, retail electricity, distributed energy resources (DERs), or adjacent industries preferred
- You thrive in fast-scaling environments

Compensation & Benefits
- $250,000–$300,000 OTE (uncapped) 60/40 base salary to variable split
