Environmental Sustainability: EW, Emission Reduction and Disclosures

Do you want to work on complex and pressing challenges—the kind that bring together curious, ambitious, and determined leaders who strive to become better every day? If this sounds like you, you’ve come to the right place.

Your Impact

You will be part of Client’s internal environmental sustainability (ES) team working to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 for the firm’s own operations. The team’s strategy focuses on cutting emissions, compensating for remaining emissions, and catalyzing broader climate action. Having successfully overachieved Client’s 2025 emission reduction targets, the team is now working towards the firm’s 2030 interim targets.

This is where you come in: You will support the ES team with data analyses to support Client’s emission reduction efforts and annual carbon accounting. Another large focus area will be voluntary and mandatory external environmental sustainability disclosures as well as our ISO 14001 EMS certification. Your analyses will help support emission reduction efforts spanning engaging with colleagues to foster behavior change and encouraging adoption of sustainable initiatives, as well as environmentally sustainable procurement and supply chain decarbonization. The majority of Client’s emissions are travel related and even more emissions are tied to our supply chain. In parallel, the disclosure landscape keeps evolving and accurate, consistent reporting is critical to our firm’s reputation.

In this role, you will be supporting across three main areas, namely supplier engagement, colleague engagement, and reporting and disclosures. For supplier engagement, you will be supporting our supplier engagement strategy including, but not limited to, conducting data analyses, preparing for Quarterly Business Reviews with Category Leads and key suppliers, and implementing Client’s CDP Supply Chain engagement. The type of initiatives that you may support could include expansion and upkeep of Green Hotel certifications, tracking and supporting engagement of suppliers via CDO Supply Chain and beyond, and implementing nudges in travel platforms. For colleague engagement, you might support engagement efforts with Green Teams, fleet managers and others on an as needed basis. This will include conducting data analyses and extracting recommendations. For reporting and disclosures, you will play a play a PMO role, supporting the delivery of environmental sustainability reporting requirements as well as EMS certification by gathering inputs, managing timelines, and working closely with stakeholders for a timely, coordinated delivery. You will be responsible for drafting initial disclosure content, ensuring it is clear, accurate, and high-quality, and applying strong quality control to deliver consistent and audit-ready outputs.

In this role, you will gather, analyze, and integrate information from internal and external stakeholders (including structured sustainability disclosures, supplier survey responses, and unstructured, large datasets such as travel data, finance data, and other emissions data) to inform priorities and track progress. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to assess and implement decarbonization initiatives. You will also support the delivery of audit-ready external disclosures and reports.

Your work will help achieve Client’s public near- and long-term emissions reduction targets and make a positive difference for colleagues, suppliers, and the planet.
