Warehouse Associate
Runwise is looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented Warehouse Associate who is eager to learn.
Runwise (www.runwise.com) is a fast-paced, customer-focused climate-tech startup that controls and runs the key energy systems (heating, water, etc…) in 7,000+ buildings throughout the US. Runwise’s unique hardware and software service significantly reduces energy usage, substantially lowering costs and carbon output. As of today, Runwise’s technology takes the equivalent of 100,000 cars worth of carbon emissions off the road each year.
THE ROLE
As a Warehouse Associate at Runwise, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a variety of departments including Field Operations, Scheduling, Onboarding, and Logistics. You will be responsible for operating warehouse operations tasks for the field operations team and ensure that the organization has the resources it needs to operate effectively. You will work closely with the Warehouse Inventory Lead on picking and packing, receiving and stowing, cycle counting, assembling hardware, and more.

Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Carry materials and tools around the shop for picking, packing, and storage
- Picking and packing install and service call bags and replenishing tech lead van stock
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the shop storage racks
- Assemble hardware
- Upload firmware to our devices
- You are based in the New York City area
- Willing and able to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work alone and with other employees
- Willingness to learn and expand technical skills and knowledge in electronics.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with all levels at Runwise
- High attention to detail
- Work cross-functionally
- 2+ years of inventory-related or equivalent experience
- High School diploma or GED.
- Experience with electronics (e.g. basic circuits, soldering, component assembly, assembling kits, etc.)
- Background working with small electronic components due to our work handling technical products, conducting technical checks and audits, and repairing small devices
