RSK Ireland, part of the RSK Group have an exciting opportunity for a full time Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant to join the team in Dublin.
The Geoscience services within the RSK Group, is one of the UK and Ireland’s largest geotechnical, contaminated land and hydrogeological consultancies with ambitious plans for growth. The company has a wide portfolio of clients in a number of sectors including marine, industry, construction, energy and property.
This is a great opportunity to work alongside an experienced team you will get involved with a vast array of projects ranging from large scale brownfield site development, landfill investigations, contaminated site investigations, renewable energy projects and hydrogeology specific projects including long term monitoring and modelling projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing technical input, guidance and review of Contaminated Land and Hydrogeology related projects
- Effective management of projects from inception to completion including resource and budget management, technical oversight and client communications.
- Designing and managing a variety of geo-environmental site investigations and monitoring programmes.
- Writing technical reports including PSA, GQRA and DQRA.
- Provide mentorship to junior staff members to assist them in their development
- Establish and develop strong working relationships with new and existing clients, which is integral to the growth of the business.
- Input into tenders and develop proposals.
- BSc degree level qualified in Geology or a related Environmental subject
- MSc in Geology, Hydrogeology or Contaminated Land related subject preferable but not essential
- A minimum of 4+ years experience in relevant position.
- Ideally be working towards chartership.
- Experienced project manager who has successfully delivered Contaminated Land or Hydrogeology related projects.
- Good analytical skills and a good understanding of laboratory testing and interpretation of laboratory results
- Proficient in writing technical reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and external bodies
- Positive and enthusiastic self-starter, with the ability to work autonomously.
