- Provide Thought Leadership: Contribute to the team’s expertise and influence on energy and environment policy issues through research, analysis, and knowledge sharing.
- Represent the Organisation: Act as an ambassador for Fortia Insight, promoting our work at industry events and through social media engagement.
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- Deep Evaluation Expertise: Experience delivering policy and programme evaluations using theory-driven and quasi-experimental methods, with a strong grasp of the technical principles behind these approaches.
- Analytical Rigor: Advanced skills in designing and implementing robust evaluation frameworks, including the use of mixed methods, counterfactual analysis, and innovative data collection strategies.
- Data Fluency: Proficiency in handling complex datasets related to energy and net zero, and experience with primary data collection. Fluency in R and/or Stata (including programming) is a significant advantage.
- Strategic Communication: Exceptional writing and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to manage and inspire teams of researchers, evaluators, and analysts, and to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Business Acumen: Demonstrated success in winning work, delivering projects on time and within budget, and contributing to strategic business planning.
