Senior Programme Manager, Green Future Fellowships
What you’ll do
- Lead the oversight and continued development of the Green Future Fellowships programme, maximising the potential of a novel endowment-funded model.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery, including assessment and selection, grant management and reporting commitments.
- Line manage the pre- and post-award programme team, building capability and modelling inclusive, high-performing ways of working.
- Manage budgets and complex risks, working closely with Finance and other colleagues.
- Coordinate tailored support for Green Future Fellows (training, opportunities and connections) and co-develop an evaluation approach that evidences long-term impact and learning.
- Build strong relationships with funders, Government, universities and other Co-develop and deliver an evaluation approach with internal colleagues and the programme Steering Group, with a strong focus on evidencing long-term impact and learning.

- Collaborate with Communications colleagues to promote and market the programme and the people and communities it supports.
- Experience developing and delivering innovative funding programmes, with strong end-to-end programme management expertise.
- A clear understanding of research commercialisation funding models and routes to market, alongside knowledge of UK and international research and innovation landscape.
- Strong financial and organisational capability with experience managing budgets.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with a collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Proven leadership and line management experience, alongside a strong commitment to EDI.

Our light, spacious head office is based in a fantastic location in central London with views over St James’s Park and close to the West End. We operate hybrid, flexible working practices with a baseline for office based working of a mandatory weekly team day plus further days each week as required for the role and the Academy.
