Administrative Assistant
Robert Half is looking for an Administrative Assistant for a Milwaukee, WI area organization to provide essential office support and help maintain efficient day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for a professional who is highly organized, dependable, and comfortable managing a wide range of administrative tasks in a fast-paced office environment. The Administrative Assistant will support internal teams by handling scheduling, document preparation, data entry, communication, filing, and general clerical duties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. This position plays an important role in supporting office workflow, improving organization, and ensuring a positive experience for staff, visitors, and business partners.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily administrative and clerical support to office staff and leadership
- Answer and route phone calls, respond to emails, and greet visitors professionally
- Schedule meetings, and coordinate conference rooms
- Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and other business documents
- Maintain filing systems, records, and databases with a high level of accuracy
- Order and track office supplies and support overall office organization
- Assist with data entry, scanning, copying, and document management
- Coordinate mail distribution, shipping, and deliveries
- Support special projects and other office operations as needed
Qualifications
- 1+ years of administrative, clerical, or office support experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
