Power the Energy Transition

Growing renewable energy developer looking for a sharp, deal-hungry Procurement Manager to own the Battery Energy Storage and Solar equipment category end to end.

This isn't a back-office support role. You'll be the company's commercial face to the market's most critical suppliers, leading high-stakes negotiations, shaping category strategy, and driving decisions that directly determine the cost of clean energy at utility scale.

Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite

What You'll Own

  • Full sourcing cycle for utility-scale BESS and Solar Generation equipment, including strategy, RFPs, negotiation, contract execution, and supplier management
  • Active contract management across BESS and Solar equipment, including QA, logistics, temporary storage, and safe harbor certification
  • Market intelligence: upstream, midstream, and downstream supply chain dashboards that keep the company ahead of the market
  • High-impact commercial negotiations: drive the deal, not just document it
  • Procurement recommendations tied to price, performance, risk, quality, and ESG criteria
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Construction, Development, and Legal to keep projects on track and on budget
  • Continuous improvement of systems, tools, and processes that scale with the business

  • 5+ years of general procurement experience
  • Proven track record in complex contract negotiations: commercial, legal, and technical
  • Deep understanding of U.S. power markets, transmission systems, and the economic drivers of renewable energy
  • Strong quantitative orientation; Excel fluency
  • Supply chain certification and/or a degree in a technical, business, or finance field is a plus

The Opportunity

You'll have visibility across every team, exposure to the full development-to-construction lifecycle, and direct impact on the company's long-term cost competitiveness.

Compensation includes an attractive bonus, full medical/dental/vision with strong premiums, 401(k) match, STD/LTD, EAP, and supplemental coverage options.
