Rivian is seeking a Stock Plan Analyst to manage the day-to-day activities in administering our global equity programs. This position will report to the Director, Equity Programs and the successful candidate will be responsible for hands-on, end-to-end administration of Rivian’s global equity plans (which may include stock options, RSUs and ESPP). The ideal candidate will have at least three years of public company experience, expertise using E*Trade/EEO platforms and be exceptionally organized, self-motivated, responsible, flexible, deadline-oriented, and resourceful.
Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day administration of the company’s equity programs, including processing grants, daily stock option exercises, and assist with quarterly RSU vests
- Maintain accurate data in our stock system by reviewing demographic, income and tax-related data transferred from Workday to EEO via API and flat file integrations
- Support employee understanding of equity awards and company programs and policies, and deliver training, education and Q&A responses to new and existing employees
- Support SOX compliance by providing documentation for controls testing and participation in SOX walkthroughs
- Generate recurring reports for multiple internal and external corporate partners (e.g., Payroll, Tax, Finance, Accounting, and Mobility Tax Vendor), and respond timely to ad hoc data requests
- Collaborate with internal Legal, Payroll, Finance, People, and Tax to ensure seamless integration and alignment of equity programs with company policies and objectives
- Partner with the company’s transfer agent, outside broker service providers, tax vendors and other key equity partners as needed for plan administration and compliance
- Cross-train on other equity team processes to serve as back-up, as needed.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in administration of global equity plans
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience utilizing E*Trade/EEO platforms preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and internal/external partners
- Demonstrated analytical abilities and intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $84,600 — $105,800 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
