As a Program Manager for Field Service Innovation, you will operate at the intersection of technology, service operations, and strategy within the Rivian Service organization. This role is designed for a dynamic problem-solver who is driven to actively build and prototype the future of service. You will be a key member of our Field Service Programs team, tasked with not only dissecting our toughest operational problems but with developing, modeling, and validating creative solutions. By leveraging generative AI, advanced analytics, and cutting-edge internal tools, your mission is to rapidly design and develop proofs-of-concept, model future outcomes, and build strong business cases before partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Responsibilities: What you'll do:
- Support & Innovate: Partner with senior leaders to support and drive high-priority, cross-functional initiatives, applying a tech-forward mindset to transform service operations from initial concept through to successful implementation and handover.
- Diagnose & Design: Partner with frontline teams to conduct deep-dive quantitative and qualitative analysis, identifying the root causes of our most complex operational issues.
- Prototype & Validate Solutions: Utilize generative AI, data, and internal tools to rapidly design and develop proofs-of-concept (POCs). Develop predictive models to forecast the operational and financial impact of proposed changes.
- Build the Business Case: Translate complex analytical findings into compelling, actionable business cases for senior leadership, turning insights into real-world, scalable solutions.
What you'll need:
- A Master's degree in a technical or quantitative field with at least 2-3 years of combined rigorous internship and professional work experience is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is acceptable with 4-5 years of combined experience across rigorous internships and professional work.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, often gained through roles in business analysis, product management, or technical program management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build compelling presentations and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated proficiency with data analysis, modeling, and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau) is essential.
Who you are:
- A Prototyper & Builder: You have a bias for action and are not content with just analysis; you have a genuine desire to build and test your ideas in the real world.
- A Structured Problem-Solver: You create clarity from chaos. You have a natural talent for breaking down complex, ambiguous problems into logical, manageable components to find a path forward.
- An Analytical Influencer: You build trust and drive change through data. You see the story in the numbers and can build a powerful, influential case that rallies stakeholders to action.
- Insatiably Curious: You have a deep and genuine desire to understand how things work at a fundamental level and are always asking "why?"
- A Culture Integrator: You are eager and willing to seamlessly integrate into the Rivian culture, actively participating in and contributing to our collaborative and mission-driven environment.
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for CA Based Applicants: $94,900-127,010 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
