About Us:
Rivian is on a mission to keep the world adventurous forever. This goes for the emissions-free Electric Adventure Vehicles we build, and the curious, courageous souls we seek to attract.

As a company, we constantly challenge what’s possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.
Role Summary:
RV Tech Enterprise IT is scaling rapidly across sites, cloud, and remote work. With this growth, we need strong IT operations discipline to ensure systems, assets, and licenses are tracked, compliant, and cost-efficient. We’re looking for an IT Operations Analyst to combine software and hardware asset management with day-to-day operational support, automation, and reporting.

As IT Operations Analyst, you will manage the lifecycle of IT assets — with a focus on software licensing and compliance — while also supporting broader IT operations. You’ll partner with IT, Finance, Procurement, and Security to maximize value from IT investments, reduce risk, and keep operations reliable. A key part of your role will be to define, implement, and maintain license management automations, while also contributing to monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational reporting.

This is a chance to shape RV Tech’s IT operations and asset management practices during a pivotal growth phase. You’ll play a key role in optimizing software spend, strengthening compliance, supporting hardware governance, and ensuring day-to-day IT reliability. If you’re detail-oriented, process-driven, and excited by the mix of operations, asset management, and automation, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the software asset lifecycle: procurement, entitlement tracking, renewals, optimization, and retirement.
  • Support hardware lifecycle management: procurement, inventory, refresh cycles, and disposals.
  • Define, implement, and maintain license management automations in ITAM/SAM tools.
  • Maintain accurate records in ITAM/SAM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, SNOW, Intune, JAMF).
  • Partner with Procurement and Finance on contracts, renewals, and cost optimization.
  • Ensure software license compliance and support audits.
  • Monitor IT systems and assets for availability, performance, and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with IT teams to resolve them.
  • Generate dashboards and reports on software compliance, hardware inventory, operational health, and spend.
  • Contribute to IT process improvements and operational governance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT operations, IT asset management, or software asset management.
  • Knowledge of both software licensing models (subscription, SaaS, enterprise agreements) and hardware lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on experience with ITAM/SAM platforms (ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, SNOW, Intune, SCCM, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience with reporting and metrics.
  • Familiarity with automation (e.g., scripting, workflows, integrations) for IT or asset management.
  • Understanding of ITIL and ITSM practices (incident, change, CMDB).
  • Strong communication skills, able to work with technical teams, vendors, and leadership.
