Sr. Manager Equipment Maintenance

- Lead maintenance teams to reduce MTTR and increase MTBF.
- Implement and drive problem-solving techniques to understand root cause in failure and develop countermeasures from recurrence.
- Lead interface between leadership, maintenance, and engineering.
- Support JPH and OEE improvements, through continuous improvement and project work.
- Work with Reliability & Maintainability to develop improvement strategies.
- Work with EHS to not only ensure compliance is maintained, but to focus on leading metrics.
- Seek predictive and preventative methodology for reduced downtime – and scrub PM plans for optimization of maintenance tasks.
- Interface with manufacturing engineering to ensure all documents (BOM, prints, electrical schematics) are available and linked to maintenance system.
- This position may require working off-shifts, or adjusted hours.

- 10+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in automotive or automotive component maintenance.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership position.
- Solid understanding of management principles such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and performance management required.
- Expert-level experience in the development and implementation of CMMS systems, with an emphasis on new model launch experience.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with concepts of reliability and maintainability, and able to develop and lead plant-wide efforts to improve equipment health.
- Demonstrated ability to be an effective leader across multiple levels of an organization.
- Experience building and managing a technical team through effective 1:1s, thoughtful feedback, career growth planning, and performance reviews.

- Ability to alternate between standing and walking 8-12 hours per day

- Ability to do work on the production floor with exposure to dust, fumes, orders, loud noise and varying temperatures
- Ability to climb up/down ladders and stairs, negotiate uneven or moving surfaces, and work at varying heights
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Illinois Based Applicants: $145,400 - $181,700 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
