Role Summary:

As a Sr. Program Manager for Inbound Network Design within Service Parts & Accessories, you will own the design and execution of our global inbound network to improve customer experience, increase throughput, and optimize cost. You will lead cross-functional programs in support of Service Parts Planning, Distribution Operations, Accessories & Merchandise, Remanufacturing, Logistics, and Packaging Engineering to deliver a world-class service supply network aligned to Rivian’s objectives. You will manage complex, multi-quarter roadmaps, drive KPI performance, and scale processes and systems across nodes and partners. The Sr. Program Manager, Inbound Network Design will be a hybrid role out of the Irvine, CA office, and will report into the Manager, Supply Chain Optimization.

Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the development and execution of the global inbound and logistics network design for Service Parts & Accessories
  • Lead projects under a Strategy scope of work within Operations or Parts Planning settings and may even be asked to step outside of this scope to support Rivian’s objectives
  • Coordinate across Service Parts teams, Logistics, Packaging Engineering, Legal, and internal Business Partners to ensure readiness for distribution / product launch
  • Drive development and execution of the inbound and logistics network design to ensure supply continuity through innovative and optimized solutions
  • Build and execute to a multi-quarter strategic roadmap for service parts and accessories, providing guidance to Parts Distribution Center (PDC) and Planning leadership on topics including, but not limited to, inventory health and positioning, 3PL warehouse management, inventory turns
  • Own network KPIs (e.g. Cost as Percent of Sales, Referral Rate and Facing Fill Rate) for the inbound service network, drive optimizations to reduce cost and improve quality to the customer
  • Lead business case development on various supply chain scenarios and make business critical decisions, weighing cost, service level, and inventory health and positioning
  • Manage budget inputs, SOWs, and requirements for 3PL warehouses through close collaboration with Finance and Accounting
  • Utilize robust project management tools to provide visibility to critical path and business readiness, manage risk analysis and mitigation activities, influence change and drive accountability
  • Align programs and processes to Rivian’s objectives, standards, and timelines; embed governance for change control, documentation, and handoffs
Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in project/program management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations or other applicable discipline; Master’s a plus
  • Certifications or training a plus (PMP, CMP, or similar)
  • Ability to drive complex programs, striving to keep within budget and timeline
  • Proficiency in program management methodologies and tools such as Agile, Critical Path Analysis, Risk Analysis; experience with Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet a plus
  • Ability to work independently and across functions; experience leading geographically dispersed teams and partners to deliver complex, multi-region initiatives; excellent stakeholder management
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet program deadlines
  • Professional demeanor, strong communication, writing and presentation skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to work effectively with internal and external partners
  • 10% Travel
  • Ability to sit or stand for 8-12 hours per day
  • Required to communicate using telephone and/or email
  • Ability to view, read, and interpret documents
  • Ability to perform all duties in an office environment that may contain ambient noise and temperature fluctuations
Pay Disclosure:
  • Salary Rate for California Based Applicants: $87,000 to $109,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
  • Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment.
