We are looking for a driven and experienced Manager, Credit & Collections to lead Rivian’s credit risk and receivables functions. In this role, you’ll oversee the development and implementation of credit and collection policies, manage customer credit evaluations, and lead the team responsible for ensuring timely collections and minimizing bad debt. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, operational discipline, and a passion for process improvement in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

- Develop and maintain credit and collections policies that support sound financial practices and customer service excellence.
- Evaluate credit applications and set appropriate credit limits based on analysis of financial statements and credit reports.
- Lead the development of collection strategies, collaborating across functions including Sales and Customer Service.
- Oversee the accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring timely collections and the resolution of disputes.
- Analyze aging reports and collection trends to proactively address delinquent accounts.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements where appropriate.
- Partner with Legal on escalated collections and potential legal action.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with policy and regulatory standards.
- Deliver dashboards and reporting with actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Hire, manage, and mentor a high-performing Credit & Collections team.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
7+ years of progressive experience in credit and collections management, preferably in automotive or manufacturing industries.
Demonstrated ability to analyze financial statements and credit risk.
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; strong Excel skills required.
Experience using ERP systems, with preference for SAP.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and grow a team.
Familiarity with credit-related laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Google Workspace and advanced Excel functions.
Professional certification in credit management (e.g., CCE, CICP).
