Associate Experience Manager
As a company, we constantly challenge what’s possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.
As an Associate Experience Manager, based at our East Coast HQ in Atlanta, you're the living embodiment of our brand. You'll foster the deep connection between our electric adventure vehicles and our passionate community across the region, executing intuitive, innovative, and memorable moments that resonate with the spirit of exploration and sustainability. This role sits at the intersection of sales, elevated hospitality, and brand advocacy, requiring an individual with a profound passion for people, education, adventure, and the end-to-end Rivian customer journey.
We're looking for dynamic individuals who can anticipate the unique needs of an adventurous customer base, navigate complex situations with agile problem-solving, and consistently exceed expectations with a customer-first approach. Success in this role hinges on a deep understanding of Rivian's mission to "Keep the World Adventurous Forever," a proven track record of achieving ambitious targets, and a sophisticated understanding of how to seamlessly integrate sales objectives with unparalleled hospitality to cultivate lasting community relationships and drive the adoption of electric adventure vehicles.

- Drive community engagement and partnerships: Actively engage with the local community to gather insights, build strategic partnerships with local organizations and influencers, and advocate for regional customer needs.
- Plan and execute events: Manage all local event logistics, including product staging of vehicles and displays, pop-ups, and activations to deliver immersive brand experiences.
- Drive sales and marketing efforts: Partner with marketing and sales teams to launch demand generation campaigns, including test drives and product showcases. You'll utilize CRM tools like Salesforce to track customer interactions, manage lead pipelines, and drive conversions.
- Oversee merchandise and inventory: Facilitate merchandise sales, manage inventory, and execute timely restocks to ensure product availability and optimal presentation.
- Serve as a subject matter expert: Act as the primary source of knowledge on our vehicles, technology platforms, and manufacturing strategies for both customers and your team.
- Preferred 5+ years of progressive customer-facing experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Ideal candidates will have a background in field marketing, high-volume sales, experiential education, or upscale hospitality, particularly within the automotive, technology, or outdoor adventure industries.
- This role is based at our East Coast HQ in Atlanta, GA. You'll need the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to travel as required for market launches, events, and operational support.
- Advanced proficiency with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and POS platforms, with a proven ability to leverage data for data-driven decision-making and enhanced customer engagement.
- A strong passion for electric vehicles, sustainable living, and outdoor adventure, aligning with Rivian's core mission and values, coupled with the ability to comfortably operate and conduct demonstrations of large, high-performance electric vehicles.
