Account Executive

Role Overview: 

We’re looking for an ambitious Account Executive to help scale Rightcharge at a pivotal stage of our growth. You’ll own the full sales cycle and drive new business across clearly defined verticals.

Our typical client operates a fleet of around 75 vehicles, with a target average contract value of £10k and a 2–4 month sales cycle – giving you a clear, repeatable path to hitting an achievable £350k ARR target. We’ve already delivered £600K ARR with zero customer churn over the past 18 months, plus £60k ARR from the direct channel.


The market opportunity is accelerating – over 60% of new EVs in the UK are purchased for business fleets – and our platform delivers measurable ROI: up to 10x energy cost savings, improved employee experience, reduced downtime, and meaningful carbon impact.


You’ll join a 14-person team (three in commercial), backed by a strong product roadmap and £3.0M in venture capital funding, providing a real runway for growth. ? The company


The electric vehicle revolution needs to be accelerated to avoid climate disaster. Our mission is to get dirty petrol and diesel vehicles off our roads as quickly as possible and replace them with clean electric cars and vans. What might surprise you is that the majority of electric vehicles are not bought by individuals, they’re bought by companies. But these companies still face challenges as they electrify their vehicle fleet. Rightcharge removes these barriers to help them electrify faster.


Our core products today are the Rightcharge Card and Rightcharge Home Reimbursement. Combined, these two products allow fleets to pay for all charging in one simple monthly bill. The Rightcharge Card gives drivers access to the largest aggregated network of public chargers in Europe (over 800,000 individual chargers), and Rightcharge Home Reimbursement adds credit to their energy bill to cover the full cost of work vehicle charging. 


Less than 24 months from launching our B2B product, we’ve signed up some of the UK's largest fleets including The AA (our recent case study shows how we saved them £1,000 per driver/year), Stagecoach and Vinci - and our tech is being used by fleets across Europe. Our goal is to continue accelerating this growth, our brand, positioning, product awareness and channel strategy will play a huge role.


⚡ The Role


Join us in pioneering the future of corporate electric fleet solutions. As a 360 Account Executive, your role will include:

  • Owning and executing the full sales cycle to new logo clients – from qualification and multi-threaded stakeholder engagement to proposal and close. 
  • Outbound lead generation consisting of cold calling, email, LinkedIn outreach and other methods to drive new business conversations.
  • Developing champions with Fleet Managers within your prospect accounts and multi-threading effectively to reach key decision makers who ultimately own the budget. 
  • Consulting with clients to understand their needs and designing compelling proposals that communicate value. 
  • Qualifying pipeline effectively – ensuring deal progression aligns with business needs and client readiness.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including marketing, customer success, and product, to refine the go-to-market strategy and gather feedback from the field. 
  • Supporting the build-out of sales processes and documentation as part of a broader scaling. 


? What you'll bring

  • 2- 5 years’ experience closing new business with an early-stage SaaS company.
  • Strong commercial acumen – not afraid to defend value and avoid discounting traps.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN) and ability to build repeatable processes.
  • Fanatical about prospecting and are willing to get stuck in to generating your own pipeline.
  • Comfort operating in scaling companies where structure and processes are still being built.
  • Confidence in multi-threaded selling and navigating multiple departments - deals here are likely to include Fleet Managers and C-level operations. 
  • Ability to communicate the financial value through software centred around reduced admin burden and how this will impact behaviours. 
  • Self-starter mentality – requiring autonomy and proactive initiative. 
  • Quick-learner with a willingness to understand the specifics of their market.
